CARD

1 Make card from cardstock. 2 Trim patterned paper and adhere. Stamp welcome. 3 Die-cut doily from cardstock, trim in half, and adhere. Adhere patterned paper strip. 4 Trim patterned paper strip and adhere. 5 Die-cut leaf, flower, and scalloped circle from patterned paper and adhere with foam tape. 6 Die-cut flower and heart from patterned paper, adhere together, and adhere with foam tape. 7 Die-cut butterflies from patterned paper and adhere. Punch butterfly from patterned paper and adhere.

FRAME

1 Fasten mat to frame. 2 Trim patterned paper to fit in mat. Die-cut doilies, trim in half, and adhere. Adhere patterned paper strip and adhere panel behind mat. 3 Cover wood letters with patterned paper, trim, and adhere. 4 Trim patterned paper strip and adhere with foam tape. Die-cut leaf from patterned paper and adhere with foam tape. 5 Die-cut flowers and scalloped circle from patterned paper and adhere with foam tape. 6 Die-cut flower and circle from patterned paper, adhere together, and adhere with foam tape. Die-cut heart from patterned paper and adhere with foam tape. 7 Die-cut butterflies and heart from patterned paper, adhere together, and adhere. 8 Die-cut and punch butterflies from patterned paper and adhere.

Designer Tips

• After covering your wood letters with patterned paper, use a file to smooth the edges.
• Give the petals of your flowers, the leaves, and the wings of your butterflies more dimension by bending them upward. For the flower petals, use a pencil to curl.

Bonus Idea

Use the doilies all the way around to create a fun, off-set scalloped background.
