1 Make tag from cardstock; trim corners.
2 Apply repositionable adhesive to chipboard brackets; adhere. Spray antiquing paint; remove chipboard shapes.
3 Stamp together; emboss.
4 Print “Gather” on cardstock; trim, sand, and attach with brads.
5 Cut strips of patterned paper; adhere.
6 Hand-stitch thread; staple ribbon and knot.
Designer Tips
• When using a thick material like chipboard as a mask, you will need to apply paint from all different angles to avoid a “shadow” effect. Spray paints made for paper are perfect for this application, as they are made to absorb quickly into the paper.
• Several light coats of spray paint are better than one heavy coat, since a lighter coat will avoid seeping under the chipboard shapes.
