1 Make card from cardstock.
2 Mat die cut edges of patterned paper piece with cardstock. Pierce and stitch two edges.
3 Freehand-cut flower petals and leaf from patterned paper; stitch using a variety of thread colors. 4 Lightly pencil flower stems; stitch and erase lines.
5 Adhere stitched block to card; affix stickers.
Designer Tips
• Change thread colors to complement your patterned paper, but don’t stress if it doesn’t match perfectly. Sometimes a contrasting color gives an even better result.
• For freestyle stitching, don’t follow the lines of your paper perfectly either, as it adds to the look if you stitch outside the lines.
