Musical Flower Card
SUPPLIES: Cardstock: (Smokey Shadow) Papertrey Ink Patterned paper: (Tube Socks from The Boyfriend collection) Cosmo Cricket Rubber stamp: (sentiment from Another Sweet Day! set) Unity Stamp Co. Dye ink: (Fired Brick) Ranger Industries Pigment ink: (Vintage Cream) Papertrey Ink Embossing powder: (clear) Stampendous! Accent: (clear rhinestone brad) Amanda Blu; (red button) BasicGrey; (clear rhinestones) Zva Creative Fibers: (black ribbon) Papertrey Ink; (black twine) Canvas Corp. Other: (vintage sheet music) Finished size: 5 1/2" x 4 1/4"
1 Make card from cardstock and adhere patterned paper piece; adhere rhinestones.
2 Create pocket from cardstock; stamp and emboss sentiment and adhere to card.
3 Tie ribbon around gift card; thread button with twine and tie around ribbon. Insert in pocket.
4 Cut various flower shapes from sheet music, ink, and distress; layer, attach with brad, and adhere.
5 Cut leaves from sheet music: ink, distress, and adhere.
To add interest and dimension, mix up the shapes of the cut flowers (circle, jagged edge, five petal).
