SUPPLIES: Cardstock: (Leapfrog) Bazzill Basics Paper; (white) Patterned paper: (Imagine, Daydream, Dream Big from 365 Degrees pad) Pink Paislee Clear stamps: (Christmas, greetings from Holiday Sayings set) Hero Arts; (bird from A Pocket Full of... set) Unity Stamp Co. Dye ink: (black) Stewart Superior Corp. Pigment ink: (Creamy Caramel) Stampin' Up! Color medium: (assorted markers) BIC Accents: (white scalloped borders) Bazzill Basics Paper Tool: (corner rounder punch) We R Memory Keepers Finished size: 4 1/4" square
1 Make card from cardstock; round right corners.
2 Cut rectangles of patterned paper; ink edges and adhere. Note: Round right corners of one piece to match card front.
3 Adhere scalloped borders.
4 Stamp bird on cardstock; color with markers, trim, ink edges, and adhere.
5 Stamp sentiment on patterned paper; cut out, ink edges, and adhere.
Designer Tip
A simple way to create a patchwork background of patterned paper is to cut one of the papers to the size of your background and then layer the other patterned pieces and strips onto the panel.
