SUPPLIES: Cardstock: (red) Die Cuts With a View; (light gray) Patterned paper: (teal stripe) Making Memories Dye ink: (Broken China) Ranger Industries Specialty ink: (Misty Breeze shimmer spray) Tattered Angels Color medium: (black chalk) Craft-T Products Accents: (red, yellow buttons) BasicGrey Fibers: (gold trim) Crate Paper Dies: (Biography alphabet) QuicKutz Tool: (die cut machine) QuicKutz Other: (newspaper) Finished size: 5 1/2" x 6 3/4"
1 Make card from cardstock.
2 Cut patterned paper, crumple, smooth, and sand to distress. Adhere to card. Zigzag-stitch seam and chalk edges.
3 Die-cut sentiment from cardstock; sand and adhere.
4 Adhere trim; fold one piece for leaf and adhere.
5 Tear strip of newspaper the length of the page and ink both edges. Start at one end and gather newspaper into flower shape; adhere.
6 Tear graduated circles of newsprint, ink, and stack to create smaller flowers. Adhere.
7 Adhere buttons

Newsprint can also be used as a background paper and stamped with flourishes or other designs for a fun look.
