Stitched Flower Card

SUPPLIES:  Cardstock: (cream)  Patterned paper: (First Date, Twitterpated, In Love from Crush collection) Fancy Pants Designs  Color medium: (brown chalk) Craf-T Products  Accents: (flower, sentiment die cuts) Fancy Pants Designs; (brown flower brads) Making Memories  Fibers: (brown grosgrain ribbon) Offray  Finished size: 5 1/2" square

1 Make card from cardstock.
2 Trim patterned paper strip to fit card front. Stitch three wavy lines; chalk stitches. Attach brads.
3 Trim 4" block of patterned paper. Adhere flower and sentiment die cuts. Stitch around flower petals and sentiment; chalk stitches. Adhere piece to card.
4 Trim patterned paper strip. Wrap with ribbon; knot. Adhere.

Designer Tip
Sew with white or cream thread and chalk stitching to match any project.
